At our testing facility the whole path from idea to production is covered. As with any product development this implies a time-consuming process. Lumotech has a team of qualified technicians that is able to face the most complicated issues.
The realization of a product starts with the design. The schematic of printed circuit boards have to be drawn, accompanied with the correct specifications and dimensions. After production, these PCBs have to be tested to asses that they qualify for the CE certificate, which includes the ENEC standard. In many cases these PCBs are equipped with LEDs. The LED prints are then carefully measured and optimised with respect to cost price, heat, lifetime and light output.
Also for fixture design there are various factors to keep in mind. How do you make sure that the heat sink works properly? How can the fixture be designed to allow easy assembly? These are issues that our development department has to tackle.
